Hair care
There are specific care requirements to maintain appearance and longevity. These requirements are essential for lace as well. These requirements are as follows:
Washing:
Gently wash your hair extensions using shampoo and conditioner. When applying conditioner allow your extensions/lace to soak in it for 3-5 minutes. Deep treatment is recommended but not required. Avoid rubbing and tangling the extensions while washing to prevent damage.
Drying:
This process is essential. Gently squeeze out the excess water from the extensions. To avoid tangling and/or breakage, it is best not to rub your bundles/lace with a towel. Instead, pat down or gently squeeze the bundles/lace with the towel until the excess water is removed.
Brushing Technique and Utensils:
Use a wide toothed comb or detangle brush. Start from the ends and work your way up to the roots. Combing from the roots to the ends can cause excess shedding. When combing the lace take your time to avoid tangling and balding. HD and transparent lace are delicate and should be handled with proper care.
Styling:
When using heat styling tools, use heat protectant spray and/or oil before applying heat to reduce damage and use caution with the temperature.
Reminder: Raw hair is natural hair. Extensions must be maintained as you would with your natural hair.
Disclaimers
Each Raw bundle are from a single donor. Although they appear similar, each bundle is different. It is rare for two bundles to be exactly the same in texture, color and pattern. It’s possible to receive bundles that are slightly different in color, shade and texture. Raw hair is 100% raw.
SINGLE DRAWN DISCLAIMER:
Our hair is single drawn which means the hair is stitched onto the weft exactly how it is collected. Single drawn hair contains various lengths throughout the bundle but the overall length is determined by the longest hair strands.
SOCIAL MEDIA DISCLAIMER:
The photos on our social media reflect the typical texture of a bundle in each category. However, the bundles you receive may vary due to our bundles being raw unprocessed.
WEFT DISCLAIMER:
Any hair that has been manufactured and stitched onto a weft may result in minimal shedding. Keep in mind that sewing through the wefts will cause loosening, unraveling and excessive shedding. To keep your wefts in good condition and reusable, we suggest sewing around the wefts.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HAIR
All our products are measured at stretch length which means your hair extensions should be measured by stretching of the hair. All curly and wavy hair extensions must be measured by stretching the hair straight.
Start with 0 at the weft; stretch the hair straight from the ends, and the length will be at the tip of the hair. If the bundles are wrapped in its band, the measurements will be inaccurate, as tension can affect the fall of each strand.
